I will show you how to make natural vitamin
C using sea-buckthorn. This is sea-buckthorn, fresh. I bought this in the market today, and I made
it juice. This is the juice of sea-buckthorn and this
is the rest of it, the skin and the seeds resulted after I made the juice. I am throwing this away because this is full
of lectins, and we do not want to consume lectins. If you buy vitamin C put in capsules, you
get the skin and the seeds in capsules. People dry the skin and seeds and they put
them in capsules and they sell that to you. The skin and the seeds have lectins, so we
throw this away. What we use, what I prefer to use is the juice,
the juice that I mix half and half with chlorophyll. I am using unflavored chlorophyll because
it has glycerin. Glycerin is sweet but theoretically it does
not have any carbs, which is why it does not increase blood sugar. I mix sea-buckthorn juice with chlorophyll
and I keep it in a bottle; I prefer a glass bottle, and I am keeping it in the fridge. I will use chlorophyll because sea-buckthorn
juice is extremely sour because it has the most amount of vitamin C. How do I know it
has the most amount of vitamin C? First of all because it says so online. And second of all because a few years ago
I used to get a cold every month, so I used to get a cold 12 times a year. Then my mom gave me sea-buckthorn juice mixed
with honey, and then I no longer got a cold. But because honey increases blood sugar and
vitamin C is not absorbed well with sugar or with honey or with anything when the blood
sugar is elevated, I am using chlorophyll which has glycerin, because glycerin theoretically
does not increase blood sugar. And now the end result is not as sour as sea-buckthorn
is and it has chlorophyll and it tastes pleasant. I will taste it and let you know. I think I should add more chlorophyll. I will put it here and add more chlorophyll because it is not
sweet enough, in my opinion. You want it to be sweet because if it is not
sweet enough it will spoil in the fridge. Glycerin is used as a preservative. If you do not have glycerin, if you do not
have chlorophyll with glycerin, you can use honey because honey is a preservative as well,
or you can use sugar. It is perfect. It tastes delicious. I recommend this. So, ever since I started drinking sea-buckthorn
juice (I have about 2 tablespoons a day) I haven’t got a cold ever since. And that was a few years ago. I started drinking sea-buckthorn juice (2
tablespoons a day) and I haven’t got a cold ever since. Before that I used to get a cold every month,
I am not exaggerating. And that’s it.
