  1. I know anecdotal evidence is less important, but from personal experience, I can say that every single one of these played a huge role in helping me with my IBS. (Unfortunately I had to discover each of them one by one through trial an error.)

While it might sound counterintuitive, a lot of people with IBS and other digestive issues actually benefit from REDUCING their fiber intake, some even need to completely eliminate fiber to resolve gut issues. While most of those issues are due to lack of beneficial gut bacteria and bad gut flora, some people even after improving it with different kinds of probiotics need to stay very low on fiber – especially people with autoimmune diseases like Chron's and Ulcerative Colitis.
